Steve Lukemeyer
EXPERIENCE: I have been a licensed attorney in Indiana since 1999, and have an Indiana real estate broker’s license. I have extensive experience dealing with real estate transactions and real estate title issues. Prior to getting into the sales side of the real estate world, I spent nearly five years as staff attorney for one of the largest independent real estate title insurance agencies in Indiana. In addition to providing legal counsel on all title and closing matters internally, I routinely advised real estate agents and brokers, mortgage brokers, and lenders. I have closed countless real estate transactions of all types and sizes.
My passion for sales and desire to help clients buy and sell real estate compelled me to get my broker’s license, and transition the focus of my business to sales and marketing. I started my brokerage services in January of 2011, and reached record sales levels immediately. See the Awards and Achievements below. I now do minimal legal work, and focus the vast majority of my time on what I love — helping people and businesses buy and sell real estate.
EDUCATION: I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and received my Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. I am admitted to the Indiana State Bar.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS: I am a member of the Southern Indiana Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Indiana Bar Association, and the Dubois County Bar Association (President 2011).

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Member of the Board of Directors for the Jasper Chamber of Commerce (2012-2014); Member of Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County, Inc. (2009-present, Board President 2010-2011), and Knights of Columbus.
PERSONAL: I am married to Anita (Wibbels) Lukemeyer and we have four children. We are members of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
